Christopher Brent Wood is an American singer, songwriter and record producer who is into the R and B, hip pop and neo soul genres of music. He is popularly known as Brent Faiyaz.
Brent Faiyaz began his music career very early at the age of 12 but his parents were not so supportive of his dream as a singer.
In 2016, he featured on Crew, a GoldLink single with Shy Glizzy, which made him rise to fame. Brent Faiyaz was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in the Grammy Awards for the Crew song.
In 2021, he got to the US Billboard Hot 100 with his singles Wasting Time, Gravity and Mercedes.
