Singer who is known as actor Jerry Lewis' first wife. They were married from 1944 to 1980 and shared six children. She filed for divorce citing "an open disregard for our marriage" and his frequent spending. She requested $450,000 per year in the divorce.

She met Lewis while she was working as a singer with Jimmy Dorsey's orchestra. They married three months later. 

Trivia

She performed with the Ted Fio Rio Orchestra. In 1993, she published a memoir titled I Laffed Till I Cried: Thirty-six Years of Marriage to Jerry Lewis.

Family Life

Her children were named Gary Lewis, Ronald, Scott, Christopher, Anthony, and Joseph.
