Was Takeoff death gang affiliated?

Takeoff was part of the dynamic Hip-hop trio Group, Migos alongside his uncle Quavo and Offset. He was born on the 18^th of June 1994 and had started music as early as his days in 7^th grade with a passion for mixing and mixtapes.

He however did not go professional until 2011 and he has since gone on to form a unique partnership with Quavo and Offset in what would be known as the Polo club before rebranding to the name Migos. He was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Takeoff was shot on the 1^st of November over what is understood to be a misunderstanding during a dice gamble, a game very popular in the ‘Hood’ No, it wasn’t gang affiliated as the shot reportedly came from one of his own people accidentally.

He was with Quavo during the shooting incident and it is also alleged that Quavo started the whole problem as he got mad because he was losing the game of dice.

Takeoff according to an eyewitness was quiet the whole time and only got involved when things got really messy which subsequently led to the shoot-out. May his soul rest in peace
